Tasks
The Center’s mission is to carry out activities in the field of the silver economy, including conducting methodological work aimed at conducting statistical surveys of entities in the national economy, older adults, and local government units. In addition, the Center is responsible for conducting work related to identifying and collecting data from administrative sources to describe the silver economy in Poland.
The Center’s responsibilities include, in particular:
- conducting work on developing and refining methodologies for studying the silver economy,
- identifying administrative data sources and utilizing them to describe the silver economy,
- initiating, planning, designing and conducting statistical surveys,
- cooperating with other ministries, institutions, and organizations in the area of research methodology,
- creating and maintaining statistical databases,
- preparing publications and statistical reports.
