Accessibility Statement

The Statistical Office in Kielce is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website in accordance with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies.

This Accessibility Statement applies to the website of the Statistical Office in Kielce.

Compliance Status

This website is partially compliant with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies due to the non-compliances listed below:

  • some PDF documents are not digitally accessible because they either lack a properly defined logical structure or consist of scanned documents;
  • some published infographics do not include alternative text or an accessible alternative presenting the same data;
  • some published photographs do not contain alternative text; however, these images are not essential for the provision of current services;
  • some form fields are not properly or unambiguously labelled;
  • some data tables do not include titles or summaries;
  • some data tables do not have correctly defined header cells associated with the corresponding data cells;
  • certain website elements are not accessible via keyboard navigation and do not have an accessible alternative;
  • keyboard navigation on some pages does not follow a logical order corresponding to the page content;
  • on some pages, headings are not assigned to the appropriate elements or are not arranged in the correct hierarchical order; empty headings also occur;
  • in some parts of the website, the contrast ratio between text and background is below the required minimum of 4.5:1; however, alternative high-contrast versions of the website are available;
  • fully justified text is used in some content.

The Statistical Office in Kielce continuously reviews and updates the content of the website and is working to achieve the highest possible level of compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. Enforcement Procedure

Everyone has the right to request that a specific element of this website be made digitally accessible. You may also request that information be provided in an alternative format, for example by having an inaccessible document read aloud or by receiving a description of the content of a video that does not include audio description.

Your request should include:

  • your contact details;
  • the address of the website or the specific webpage concerned;
  • your preferred method of contact.

If you request information in an alternative format, you should also specify the format that is most convenient for you.

The Statistical Office in Kielce will respond to your request without undue delay and no later than 7 days from the date of submission. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the Office will inform you without delay of the expected completion date, which will not exceed 2 months from the date of the request.

Where it is not possible to ensure digital accessibility, the Office will provide an alternative means of accessing the requested information.

If the Statistical Office in Kielce refuses to fulfil a request for digital accessibility or for access by an alternative method, the requester may lodge a complaint regarding the accessibility of the website, mobile application or a specific website element.

Directional road signs are installed at the junction leading to the Office. The pedestrian route to the building is paved and includes lowered kerbs. One designated parking space for persons with disabilities is available in front of the building.

The building has one main entrance located at 2 Zygmunta Wróblewskiego Street. The main lobby, situated on the raised ground floor, is accessible by stairs from outside. A platform lift is located to the right of the staircase and is operated by a member of staff, who can be called using the assistance button.

The building has four storeys. Internal circulation routes (stairs and corridors) have been adapted for people with visual impairments. Glass partitions and doors are marked with high-contrast safety markings.

An information desk with a lowered service counter is located to the right of the main entrance.

All customer service points (REGON Register and Information Centre) are located on the raised ground floor. They are equipped with lowered counters and induction loop systems. The Information Centre also includes a children's corner and a quiet room.

During visits to the Office, visitors may use a remote Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpretation service and the Signed Polish communication system. The service is available:

  • Monday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Assistance dogs and guide dogs are welcome throughout the building, including all customer service areas.

An accessible toilet is located on the lower ground floor near the emergency exit. It is equipped with:

  • a baby changing station;
  • an emergency assistance call button;
  • visual and audible emergency alarm signalling.

Statistical Office in Kielce – Sandomierz Branch

27-600 Sandomierz, Poland

The Branch Office is located in a building owned by the Guild of Craftsmen and Entrepreneurs. The building is accessible via stairs and a ramp for persons with reduced mobility.

The Branch Office premises are located on the first floor and are not fully accessible to persons with physical disabilities due to the absence of a lift, nor to blind and partially sighted persons, as the building does not provide Braille signage, Totupoint navigation markers, high-contrast markings or large-print information.
